- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 tablespoons cold unsalted butter, diced
- 2 large apples, peeled and sliced
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Add in the butter and use a pastry blender or two knives to cut the butter into the dry ingredients until it resembles coarse crumbs.
- Place apples in an 8-inch baking dish.
- Sprinkle crumb mixture over apples.
- Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
