Apple Crumb Cake
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 1 1/2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 apples - peeled, cored and chopped

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. Grease and flour a 9x13 inch pan.
  3. In a medium bowl, stir together the flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt.
  4. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
  5. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  6. Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just blended.
  7. Fold in the apples.
  8. Spread batter evenly into prepared pan.
  9. Bake for 40 minutes in preheated oven or until a toothpick inserted into center of cake comes out clean.
  10. Cool before serving.
