- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup cold butter, cut into pieces
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 3 cups thinly sliced peeled apples
- 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat oven to 375°F.
- In a medium bowl, mix 1/2 cup flour, 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon and the salt.
- Cut in butter until crumbly.
- Stir in brown sugar; set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine apples, 3 tablespoons flour, granulated sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon; toss to coat.
- Transfer to a 9-inch pie plate.
- Sprinkle with crumb mixture.
- Bake 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly.
- Cool on a wire rack before serving.
