- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 medium tomatoes, chopped
- 2 teaspoons ground coriander
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon garam masala powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
- Salt to taste
- 1 cup paneer cubes (cottage cheese)
- 3 potatoes, peeled and cubed
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add onion and garlic and sauté until onion is translucent.
- Add ginger paste and stir for 1 minute.
- Add tomatoes, coriander, cumin, garam masala, turmeric powder and salt. Stir to combine.
- Cook for 5 minutes or until tomatoes are softened.
- Add paneer cubes and potatoes. Stir to combine.
- Cover the skillet with a lid and cook for 10-15 minutes or until potatoes are tender.
- Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- Serve hot.
