Aloo Gobi
Ingredients
  • 1 large head of cauliflower, broken into florets
  • 2 potatoes, peeled and cut into cubes
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon cumin seeds
  • 1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon coriander powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon garam masala powder
  • Salt to taste

Steps
  1. Heat the oil in a large pan over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the cumin seeds and let them sizzle for a few seconds.
  3. Add the potatoes and cauliflower and stir-fry for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the turmeric, coriander, red chilli and garam masala powders. Stir to combine.
  5. Cover the pan with a lid and reduce the heat to low. Cook for 10 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  6. Season with salt to taste.
  7. Serve hot.
