Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons active dry yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 1/2 cups lukewarm water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour, yeast, sugar and salt.
  2. Add the lukewarm water and mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for 10 minutes until it is smooth and elastic.
  4. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise for 1 hour.
  5. Once the dough has doubled in size, punch it down and knead it again for 5 minutes.
  6. Divide the dough into two equal pieces and shape them into balls.
  7. Cover with plastic wrap and let them rise for another hour before using.
