- 1 can black beans
- 1 cup cooked brown rice
- 1 red bell pepper, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder
- 1/4 teaspoon chili powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the bell pepper and onion and cook until softened.
- Add the garlic, cumin, chili powder, salt and pepper. Stir to combine.
- Stir in the black beans and cooked rice. Cook for a few minutes until everything is heated through.
- Serve in bowls with your favorite toppings.
