Vegetable Lo Mein
Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. lo mein noodles
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup carrots, julienned
  • 1/2 cup celery, julienned
  • 1/2 cup onion, julienned
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil

Steps
  1. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the lo mein noodles and cook for 8 minutes.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the carrots, celery, onion and mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and stir to combine.
  5. Add the soy sauce and sesame oil and stir to combine.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes or until heated through.
  7. Serve hot.
