Ingredients
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Steps
  1. Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water in a small bowl and let stand for 5 minutes.
  2. In a medium saucepan, heat the cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
  4. Stir in the vanilla extract.
  5. Pour into 4-6 individual ramekins or custard cups.
  6. Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
