- 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
- 1/4 cup cold water
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Sprinkle the gelatin over the cold water in a small bowl and let stand for 5 minutes.
- In a medium saucepan, heat the cream and sugar over medium heat until the sugar is dissolved.
- Remove from heat and stir in the gelatin mixture until completely dissolved.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour into 4-6 individual ramekins or custard cups.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight before serving.
