Tortellini Carbon…
Ingredients
  • 1/2 pound bacon, diced
  • 1/2 onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 pound fresh or frozen cheese tortellini

Steps
  1. In a large skillet, cook bacon over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon with a slotted spoon and set aside.
  2. Add onion, garlic and pepper to the skillet and cook until onion is translucent. Add olive oil and stir to combine.
  3. Add chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Stir in cream and Parmesan cheese. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Add tortellini to the skillet and cook until tender.
  6. Serve with reserved bacon on top.
