- 1/2 lb. beef steak, thinly sliced
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1 red bell pepper, chopped
- 2 tablespoons fish sauce
- 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3-4 Thai or Italian basil leaves
- Heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium-high heat. Add beef and stir-fry for 2 minutes.
- Add garlic, onion, and bell pepper and stir-fry for an additional 3 minutes.
- Add fish sauce, oyster sauce, and brown sugar. Stir to combine.
- Add basil leaves and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Serve hot.
