- 2 cups of okra, sliced into 1/4 inch thick slices
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Vegetable oil for frying
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.
- Dip the okra slices into the flour mixture until they are lightly coated.
- Place the okra slices in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
- Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
- Serve warm.
