Ingredients
  • 2 cups of okra, sliced into 1/4 inch thick slices
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Vegetable oil for frying

Steps
  1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. In a shallow bowl, combine the flour, garlic powder, paprika, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper.
  3. Dip the okra slices into the flour mixture until they are lightly coated.
  4. Place the okra slices in the hot oil and fry until golden brown.
  5. Remove from heat and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve warm.
