Snowballs
Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and confectioners' sugar until light and fluffy.
  2. Beat in the vanilla.
  3. Gradually stir in the flour until well blended.
  4. Shape dough into 1 inch balls and place on ungreased baking sheets.
  5. Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes or until set but not brown.
  6. Cool on wire racks before rolling in additional confectioners' sugar if desired.
