- 4 pounds pork spare ribs
- 2 tablespoons paprika
- 2 tablespoons garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1. Preheat the smoker to 225 degrees Fahrenheit.
- 2. Combine the paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, brown sugar, salt and black pepper in a bowl.
- 3. Rub the rib racks with the spice mixture.
- 4. Place the racks in the preheated smoker and cook for 4 hours.
- 5. Brush with a favorite barbecue sauce and continue cooking for 1 hour or until done.
