- 3-4 lb. pork shoulder roast
- 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Place pork shoulder in the slow cooker.
- In a small bowl, mix together the apple cider vinegar, brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, chili powder, cumin and salt and pepper.
- Pour mixture over the pork shoulder and rub into the meat.
- Cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours or high for 4-5 hours until the pork is cooked through and tender.
- Remove pork from slow cooker and shred with two forks.
