Samosas
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/2 cup cold water

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the flour and salt.
  2. Add the oil and mix until combined.
  3. Gradually add the cold water, stirring until a dough forms.
  4. On a lightly floured surface, roll out the dough until it is about 1/4 inch thick.
  5. Cut into 3-inch circles with a cookie cutter or a knife.
  6. Fold each circle in half and press the edges together to form a cone shape.
  7. Fill each cone with your favorite filling and seal shut with water.
  8. Deep fry in hot oil until golden brown. Serve warm.
