- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 2 teaspoons pumpkin pie spice
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 cup 2% milk, divided
- 1/4 cup strong brewed espresso or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
- Combine pumpkin puree, sugar, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice and cinnamon in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
- Stir until mixture is smooth and heated through.
- Gradually add 1/2 cup of the milk and stir until combined.
- Add the remaining 1/2 cup of milk and stir until combined.
- Add espresso or coffee and stir until combined.
- Heat mixture until it reaches desired temperature.
- Pour into two mugs and serve hot.
