- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
- 2 tablespoons melted butter
- Preheat waffle iron to medium heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together buttermilk and melted butter.
- Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Lightly grease preheated waffle iron with cooking spray or butter.
- Pour 1/4-cup of batter onto waffle iron. Cook for 3-5 minutes or until golden brown.
- Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm.
