- 1 cup white rice
- 1/2 cup split urad dal
- 1 teaspoon fenugreek seeds
- 3 cups water
- Salt, to taste
- Soak the rice and urad dal in water for 4-5 hours.
- Grind the soaked ingredients into a fine paste using a blender or food processor.
- Add 3 cups of water to the batter and mix it well.
- Let the batter sit for 8-10 hours to ferment.
- Heat a flat griddle over medium heat. Grease the griddle with oil and spread a thin layer of batter over it in a circular motion.
- Cook until the edges turn golden brown. Flip over and cook on the other side until golden brown.
- Serve hot with chutney of your choice.
