Ingredients
  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/2 cup minced carrots
  • 1/4 cup minced onion
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
  • 20 lumpia wrappers (spring roll wrappers)

Steps
  1. In a bowl, mix together pork, carrots, onion, garlic, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, cornstarch and water chestnuts.
  2. Place about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture onto the center of each lumpia wrapper.
  3. Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll up tightly.
  4. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry lumpia in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot.
