- 1 pound ground pork
- 1/2 cup minced carrots
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 (8 ounce) can water chestnuts, drained and finely chopped
- 20 lumpia wrappers (spring roll wrappers)
- In a bowl, mix together pork, carrots, onion, garlic, black pepper, salt, soy sauce, cornstarch and water chestnuts.
- Place about 1 tablespoon of the pork mixture onto the center of each lumpia wrapper.
- Fold the sides of the wrapper over the filling and roll up tightly.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Fry lumpia in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot.
