- 2 cups Urad Dal
- 1 cup Rice
- 1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
- Soak the Urad Dal and Rice in water for at least 6 hours.
- Grind the soaked Urad Dal and Rice to a paste.
- Mix in the Fenugreek Seeds and set aside.
- Fill an Idli steamer with water and heat it up.
- Grease the Idli moulds with oil or ghee.
- Pour a ladle full of batter into each mould and steam for about 10 minutes.
- Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
