Idli
Ingredients
  • 2 cups Urad Dal
  • 1 cup Rice
  • 1 tsp Fenugreek Seeds

Steps
  1. Soak the Urad Dal and Rice in water for at least 6 hours.
  2. Grind the soaked Urad Dal and Rice to a paste.
  3. Mix in the Fenugreek Seeds and set aside.
  4. Fill an Idli steamer with water and heat it up.
  5. Grease the Idli moulds with oil or ghee.
  6. Pour a ladle full of batter into each mould and steam for about 10 minutes.
  7. Serve hot with chutney or sambar.
