Steps
  1. Check the brake fluid level. The level should be between the minimum and maximum marks on the reservoir.
  2. Check the brake pads for wear. If they are worn down, replace them.
  3. Inspect the brake lines for any signs of leakage. If you see any, replace them.
  4. Inspect the calipers and rotors for any signs of rust or damage. If you find any, replace them.
  5. Test your brakes by pushing down on the brake pedal firmly a few times. If there is any sponginess or if it takes a long time for the brakes to engage, then you may need to have your brakes serviced.
