- 1. Locate the brake fluid reservoir. This will be located near the brake master cylinder, which is typically located close to the firewall.
- 2. Remove the cap from the brake fluid reservoir and wipe away any dirt or debris with a clean cloth.
- 3. Check the level of fluid in the reservoir. The level should be between the two lines on the side of the reservoir.
- 4. If necessary, add brake fluid to bring it up to between these two lines.
- 5. Replace and tighten the cap securely.
