- 1 lb. ground lamb
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon ground coriander
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- salt and pepper to taste
- 4 pitas, warmed
- In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, and smoked paprika.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Form into 8 thin patties.
- Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
- Place each patty in a warm pita and top with desired toppings.
- Serve immediately.
