Greek Lamb Gyros
Ingredients
  • 1 lb. ground lamb
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pitas, warmed

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground lamb, garlic, oregano, cumin, coriander, and smoked paprika.
  2. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  3. Form into 8 thin patties.
  4. Heat a lightly greased skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Cook the patties for 3-5 minutes per side until cooked through.
  6. Place each patty in a warm pita and top with desired toppings.
  7. Serve immediately.
