- 1 lb boneless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, minced
- In a medium bowl, combine the chicken cubes and cornstarch. Toss to coat.
- Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, vinegar, sesame oil, sugar, garlic and ginger.
- Add the sauce to the skillet and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 minutes.
- Serve over steamed rice.
