Crescent Rolls
Ingredients
  • 2 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 package dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted

Steps
  1. In a large bowl, combine the flour, salt and sugar. Add the yeast and stir until combined.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter until warm (120° to 130°F). Add to the flour mixture and beat until smooth.
  3. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  4. Punch dough down; turn onto a lightly floured surface. Roll into a 16-in. x 12-in. rectangle.
  5. Cut into 16 triangles. Roll up from the wide end and place on greased baking sheets, point side down.
  6. Cover and let rise until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  7. Bake at 375° for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm.
