Chocolate Brownies
Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 3/4 cup white sugar

Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In a large saucepan, melt 1/2 cup butter.
  3. Remove from heat, and stir in 2 eggs and 1 teaspoon vanilla.
  4. Beat in 1/2 cup all-purpose flour, 1/3 cup cocoa, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon baking powder.
  5. Stir in 3/4 cup white sugar. Spread batter into prepared pan.
  6. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes in the preheated oven. Brownies will look done when edges start to pull away from sides of pan.
  7. Cool before cutting into squares.
  8. Enjoy!
