Buttered Noodles
Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb. egg noodles
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Steps
  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Add the egg noodles and cook for 8 minutes.
  3. Drain the noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.
  4. Return the noodles to the pot and stir in the butter, salt, and pepper.
  5. Add enough of the reserved cooking liquid to moisten the noodles.
