- 1/2 lb. egg noodles
- 3 tablespoons butter
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil.
- Add the egg noodles and cook for 8 minutes.
- Drain the noodles, reserving 1/4 cup of the cooking liquid.
- Return the noodles to the pot and stir in the butter, salt, and pepper.
- Add enough of the reserved cooking liquid to moisten the noodles.
