- 1 lb. white fish fillets
- 1 cup beer
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Vegetable oil, for frying
- In a large bowl, combine the flour, baking powder, garlic powder, salt and pepper. Whisk in the beer until the batter is smooth.
- Cut the fish into small strips and dip each piece into the batter.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the fish strips for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Warm up your tortillas in a skillet or in the microwave. Place some of the fried fish onto each tortilla and top with your favorite toppings.
