Beef Stew with Be…
Ingredients
  • 2 lbs beef stew meat
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 carrots, chopped
  • 2 celery stalks, chopped
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 1 (12-ounce) bottle of beer or beef broth

Steps
  1. Heat oil in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the beef and season with salt and pepper. Cook until the beef is browned on all sides. Add the garlic, onion, carrots and celery. Cook for 5 minutes.
  2. Add the mushrooms and cook for an additional 5 minutes. Pour in the beer or broth and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  3. Serve hot with your favorite side dishes.
