- 1 lb. bacon bits
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 (15-ounce) cans pork and beans
- 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained and rinsed
- 1 (15-ounce) can butter beans, drained and rinsed
- 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 3 tablespoons molasses
- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon bits until crisp.
- Remove the bacon from the pan and set aside.
- In the same skillet, add the chopped onion and sauté until softened.
- In a large bowl, mix together the pork and beans, kidney beans, butter beans, BBQ sauce, brown sugar and molasses.
- Add in the cooked bacon bits and stir to combine.
- Pour the mixture into a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Bake for 45 minutes or until bubbly.
- Serve hot.
