- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 8 cups cubed French bread
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 1/2 cups half and half cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix together melted butter, brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Place the cubed French bread into the prepared baking dish and pour the butter mixture over top.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together eggs, half and half cream and vanilla extract. Pour this over the French toast.
- Bake in preheated oven for 40 minutes or until golden brown and set in the center.
- Serve warm.
