Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

  1. In a medium saucepan, whisk together the sugar and cornstarch.
  2. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth.
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens and boils.
  4. Boil for 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  6. Pour into individual serving dishes and chill for at least 2 hours before serving.
